Improving and Editing Film

After recognising our idea and narrative wasnt portrayed well in our filming, we've come to the conclusion that we will put a voice over over the top in order so that our opening will have the same conventions of a rom-com.
Here is our research into film openings which use voice overs to set up the narrative.

These are all genres aimed at the a young audience, portraying stereotypes of teenage social groups. They also set up their films with a voiceover, setting the scene and giving us an idea of the personality which the protagonist holds.

The Inbetweeners

Particular feedback we got from our film, was that the style of filming, and the characters involved seemed to have been inspired from The Inbetweeners. The Bedroom Scene, with our voice over and main protagonist getting ready for school is very similar tothe style of the main protagonist in The Inbetweeners. This shows that our portrayal of our genre, teenage rom-com, has all the conventions and stereotypes it needs to portray this well.
